In case you guys aren’t already aware of this, the Wordpress Development Team have released another security release to tackle yet another round of the privilege escalation issues found in Wordpress 2.8.1, and this one is all thanks to the community.

In a passing thought, I imagined it might be relatively interesting at the very least to actually be informed of the persons behind the fantastic finds. They do, after all, deserve a bit of recognition for shining light on the issues before they got out of control. Maybe even automattic might consider them for employment, hmm?
