I’ve put together this list of quality websites that offer free graphical vector files that also offer either a direct download link to the file or a direct link to the author’s original release posting.

None of these websites require a membership, a bit of change from your pocket or provide you with a hastle.

If you are the webmaster of a vector resource website and you host your files on MediaShare, RapidFire or some other misleading data provider, don’t bother submitting your website to me, and it might be why your website isn’t listed here.

vector4free

vector4free

vector4free is one that I previously was unaware of, and it seems to be a bit newer than some of the other old schoolers, but the website proves to be trusting and of quality. I even think they pick their vectors a bit more strictly than some of the other more famous vector websites.

vecteezy

vecteezy

I believe vecteezy is the most well known free vector resource website out there, but I could be wrong. What is unmistakable however, is the fact that they have quite a following.

123 Free Vectors

123 Free Vectors

123 Free Vectors is definately one of the best vector resource websites — offering up 857 different vectors at the time of me publishing this article. Straight forward vector downloading directly off their server.

Free Vectors.net

Free Vectors.net

Free Vectors.net is a relatively good vector website with some 114 pages of them available for download. The only downside to Free Vectors.net is the fact that they link out to the artist’s website as the only means of downloading the file.

QVectors

QVectors

QVectors is one of the more well-known free vector websites and seems to be updated regularly with new vector files.

iyecon

iyecon

iyecon.com is a side-project started and maintained by me, so I can guarantee you with absolute certainty that the website is of quality, and iyecon also hosts the vector files on its server.

iyecon.com also has free icon sets and desktop wallpapers if that is of interest to you.

Freebies LinkShare

Freebies LinkShare is a community oriented type website where webmasters / web/graphic designers come together to submit links to free resources, and the website just so happens to offer a vector section.

Note: You only need to subscribe if you plan to submit something. Otherwise, the links to the files should be direct and hastle free. All submissions are held for approval by the moderator to attempt to ensure quality submissions.

vectorvalley

vectorvalley

I enjoy this website, as the layout is very clean, they host the vector files themselves, and a lot of the vector files are of higher quality; However, the fact that clicking any of the thumbnails only refreshes the current page instead of taking you to the download links / single vector page, frustrates me to no end.

Vector Art.org

Vector Art.org is rather small, but they do provide direct download links to their vectors, and I have a good feeling about this website. I think it’s one to watch to grow. Even with the small amount of vectors, they apparently get around 130k impressions per month.

Vector Portal

Vector Portal is ‘okay’ if you were to ask me, but I don’t see much about it that makes it special or even a little bit unique. Sorry..

However, they do host the vectors on their own servers and do something that most of the other vector websites don’t do, which is classify the vectors for easy navigation.

Uber Piglet

Uber Piglet is one of my absolute favorites if not my definitive favorite. Clean website, easy navigation, download links right up front.

Vector Junky

Vector Junky has 9,403 vectors at the time of me posting this, and they also offer direct downloads to all vector files.

Vectorss.com

“For designers we find the best vectoric resources of internet and gather all of them in our website.
We add new resources day by day and present them for your admire.”

lafkon.net

If you can’t find it anywhere else, or the vector is a bit odd and seems relative to finding a needle in a haystack, give lafkon.net a go.

Spoon Graphics

Spoon Graphics

Spoon Graphics has a bit of everything, but everything they offer is high quality and unique. They are highly regarded in the graphic design community.

For Designer.com

I nearly didn’t put this website on the list due to the obvious crowding of Google Adsense ads around the download links to get users to mistakenly click the ad instead of anything else. Anyway, just read carefully. Other than that, it’s a great site.

DeviantArt

If you don’t know of DeviantArt, then you proooobably are thinking a vector is something else entirely. Anyway, be careful to read the licenses posted with the vectors. A lot of times the authors will even use a license mistakenly and later come at you with an attitude.

Vector Jungle

Vector Jungle

Vector Jungle just kinda rocks, heh.

Keep Designing

Clean website, direct links to the files, can’t really ask for more than what they give ya.

I Heart Vector

I heart Vector seems to create most, if not all, of the vectors they feature on the website. Excellent site navigation, most vectors seem to be royalty free and they don’t ask for anything in return. Perfect site for this article.

Go Media

One of the best in the article; however, they tend to focus primarily on their practice of selling vectors. Nothing wrong with that — just saying. Oh, and let me add, the website they sell the vectors off of is completely different from this one.

Mau Russo

Mau Russo

Mau Russo is a graphic designer of a high caliber I sometimes converse with and was interviewed right here on JungleJar.com. Oh, and he releases free Vectors among other things.
