Last year was a pretty good year for JungleJar. Our Wordpress templates were downloaded by tens of thousands of users, I haven’t received any bad comments on any of them, our content and user base grew substantially, and our pagerank and traffic to our website went up as well.

I’m looking to make this year even better, and here are just a few of the things I have lined up for the website and otherwise..

  • Of course more Wordpress templates, but also tumblr, drupal, joomla, and bbpress templates as well.
  • I’m working on a new design for the website, so if things seem a little off for awhile, well, you’ll know I’m busy working.
  • I’m hoping to release a massive code-snippets section with code snippets for Wordpress, Drupal, and Joomla, but also standard XHTML/CSS/JScript snippets.
  • Our resources section will be one of the biggest additions to the website. You’ll just have to wait for that one, but I’m really hoping to make this something to awe over.
  • Of course we’ll be releasing more content. I hope to publish around 10 times more content this year actually, and of course I want to do that while maintaining a high level of quality.
  • I’m also considering making a ‘community’ section of JungleJar where our readers can aggregate and share their thoughts and opinions. Possibly something like a forum, but I’m not settled on any one platform.
  • We’re also still considering authors, so if any of you out there are interested, let us know.

So, with all of that said, you guys stick around, because it’s only going to get better. Also, if the posts seem a bit slow this month, it’s only because I’m working hard on the re-design and re-tweaking the XHTML.
