We have upgraded all of our free Wordpress templates.
Many of the changes were just minor improvements to the code itself. I did, however, add the feature of trackbacks being seperated from normal comments, and a couple of other really useful upgrades.
Changes include..
- All templates now seperate trackbacks from normal comments.
- Helium had a very minor float issue, but this was corrected some time ago.
- All templates were tested under Wordpress 2.7. The live demos now reflect the Wordpress 2.7 upgrade.
- I cleaned up all of the CSS style sheets a tad.
- All templates now include the license in the zip archive.
- Helium only had one widgetized sidebar when first developed due to the fact that I didn’t really see anyone using widgets in the other two. However, due to request, all 3 sidebars are now widgetized. This is the same for negatendo also.
- It seems like everytime I had finished authoring and testing a new template here on JungleJar, I was so tired that when I posted the news on the website, the template description — the list of features, sucked. I didn’t even list all of the features of each template. I’ve went back and added a better feature list.
- And you can expect a post here on JungleJar sometime soon announcing the finished version of the XHTML/CSS only version of our template Helium.
Remember everyone, if you use any of our templates, you can always check back here at JungleJar for free upgrades to them. I’m constantly improving them and making sure they work correctly in all the new versions of Wordpress. And don’t forget, as well as being available for download in just CSS/XHTML format, sometime in the future you can expect to see them available for use with other content management systems such as Joomla and Drupal.
